Hanna's Cabin
Hanna's Cabin was built in 1935 and has been completely remodeled and updated but retains its Old Tahoe charm. Located on Lake Tahoe's beautiful West Shore, it is within short walking distance of three restaurants, a small grocery and video store, post office, and historic Chamber's Landing Resort, which has a beach, pier, bar and restaurant open during the summer months. Within two miles you will also find Homewood Ski Area and Homewood Marina, Sugar Pine Point State Park, historic Ehrman Mansion, beautiful beaches, ski and bike rentals and many hiking and cross country ski trails, some of which trace the original trails used by Winter Olympians in 1960.
The cabin is located on the property of your hosts, Chris and Deborah Hanna. It is decorated with antiques, old skis, and Tahoe memorabilia, and features a large sunny loft with king size bed, a downstairs bedroom with a double size antique brass bed, full kitchen with cooking utensils, bathroom with shower, and an outside deck with table, umbrella, generous seating, and barbeque. The living room/dining area has a fireplace with wood stove and a day bed that converts to two single beds for larger parties. Cable TV and local telephone service are also provided. Your hosts are available to assist you with any needs you may have.The cabin is available by the night, except where denoted on Cabin Rates, multiple nights, or for winter ski lease. A one-night deposit is required at the time of reservation, refundable if canceled 7 days prior to arrival (15 days for holiday periods). We caution parents with very young children due to open loft/balcony area.
